A Kiss Goodbye

BY Costandinos

Poem | THEME: A Year of Sorrow

As your last, darkening, flicker of light shines upon us, a lifetime of
memories, are refracted through the prism of our tears.

Most, will be forgotten, ground beneath the millstone of time, others,
to be cherished, for they will be laced upon a necklace of remembrance.

Resting in the palm of God, Acanthis bathes your ears with songs of love,
washing away your fears, for you are at peace, resting upon a bed of roses.

In loving memory of our mother, you will forever live in our hearts.
